Need help....

I got on the scale this morning knowing that today is WID at ww. I am up from last week. I am SO utterly frustrated. I have been tracking, I have been working out way more and I am just so frustrated that I actually laid down for awhile and cried. I've never been so devastated by a stupid number on a stupid scale. I don't understand what is going on with my body. I work out daily, I eat differently, I drink TONS of water. I am unhappy in my relationships but I have not been eating bad because of it, my homework sucks, but I've still been forcing myself to sleep better. . . . I just am so frustrated. I don't want to go away on vacation because I know I can't workout there like I can at home.
So I saw this on someone else's blog and as down as I am today I know I NEED this....

Today, I promise I will not quit.

I pledge that no matter, how many ups and downs I pass through, I will continue on my journey.

I pledge to make a NEW START today, and forgive myself for my past, and to stop being so critical of myself.

I pledge to take control of myself, to stop making excuses, and stop blaming other people or situations.

I pledge to treat myself as I would my best friend, because that is who I am.

I pledge to stay in the race and to be a WINNER!

    It's hard when the effort doesn't always reflect in the number on the scale,but don't give up! emoticon

    Sometimes your body just does things that you can't figure out. If it has been hot it retains water. Too much salt same thing. Lots of possibilities. It gets discouraging, but hang in there. If you are burning more calories then you are using, it WILL lose weight. Don't ever, ever, ever give up. emoticon

    I'm a fellow weight watcher. Are you eating all your points (APs and WPs, too)? Are you getting in all your healthy checks? If the answer to both is yes and this is your first week gaining, I wouldn't worry too much. I know it's frustrating to see a gain, but sometimes it's just a fluctuation and will sort itself out in no time. If you've been having trouble for awhile, it could be due to stress. You may actually NEED that vacation!

    Whatever happens, you are right to not give up. When I'm having a rough time seeing past the scale, I just remind myself to "Trust the process." Even if it's not apparent at the moment, it is working.

    I'm sorry you are having a bad day... we all have them. But turn that frown upside down and smile! You have sooo much more positive in your life to let the bad take over. I know, I don't know you.... but everybody forgets when they are down that they have sooo much more to be happy about. In your case - just from reading what you said - you are TRYING to lose weight - you're tracking your intake, you're working out, you're drinking your water, you're going to WW... heck, those are all things to be proud of!! Now, go look in the mirror, pull your shoulders back, lift your chin and put a smile on your face! YOU are beautiful and YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU PUT YOUR MIND TO. When you come to a bump in the road, jump over it and move forward. Don't let the bump turn into a hill, which will grow into a mountain! WE can do this! emoticon emoticon emoticon
