Injured!

I come with not so good news...
I have a Achilles Tendonitis in my left foot emoticon I created the situation by wearing flip flops the whole time at Church Camp. It was so hot I didn't want to wear tennis shoes. I probably would have been better off going bare foot. So now I'm on crutches and using a walking boot until it feels better. Praying for a speedy recovery...

Now I WILL have to be more strict on my eating, because I don't want to gain weight. As easy as it will be to do since I can't do my normal workout routine and I have to scratch off running. I'm trying to figure out how to workout while injured, so... if anyone has any ideas PLEASE leave a comment.

Besides my injury I did have a GREAT week at Church Camp!! I had the most amazing family group of kids. Our group challenge project was to pick a Bible story and create a skit. Our group picked Noah's Ark ~
performed Duck Dynasty style. We had 14 in our group, so there was bunch of Yuppie Girls & Boys, too. The kids did great!!

    Hopping on one leg? emoticon If you do a full marathon that way though it only counts as a 1/2 marathon. emoticon

    Along a more serious note, chair exercises and swimming as mentioned above may be your best options.

    Oh no! There are chair exercises that you can do. They don't require your legs at all. Are you coming to the picnic on Saturday? Your camp kiddos look awesome! Hope to see you this weekend, take care. emoticon

    Swimming is great, along with treading water. You can still do many different weights. What a challenge. I have faith you will come up with something to stay busy. I hope you heal up fast!! emoticon
