Dig a hole....

Thursday, July 25, 2013

Okay so I have a friend who has been through a pretty unpleasant divorce a couple of years ago. I helped him through it and tried to be his rock, confidant, whatever he needed during it. Well he wants me to fix him up with someone and I have tried but it's not that easy. He let go of the idea of getting involved for awhile and then his ex-wife got engaged on their daughters birthday. Now he's suddenly super depressed and freaking out. Well I found someone to fix him up with and I've been setting that up to get them together and she suddenly asks me the other day where he was from. So I told her he lives two towns north of her; about 20 miles or so. She says, omg, I know who that is. He isn't even attractive and backed out of meeting him at the last minute. I think he's plenty attractive and had no idea she was so conceited. Now I'm the jerk who had to tell him she doesn't want to go out with him and he doesn't believe me when I told him some other excuse. He wants her number to call her himself and I don't want her to be rude and reject him that way. I am NEVER agreeing to help with this crap again.
