Moved my ticker down 3.2 lbs. today! (That includes the .6 from the 2 week vacay.) Still makes it a good week:) No alcohol since vacation has made a big difference, as well as eating in 7 of last 8 nights.
Great 3 mile hike today. If I count it as a "hike climbing hills carrying less than 10 lbs." it is 720 cal. If I track the mileage and time (65 min.) it only gives me 320 cal. I counted the lower amount, and whatever over is all good I guess. Have also tried some of the SP abs, pilates, and yoga videos this week in addition to my walking or elliptical and weight machines. I love the 20 minute Yogalites workout, think I will order the video when I get paid.
Also thinking about a FitBit. If anyone out there reading this is using one, please let me know how it's working for you. I walk a lot at work going to classrooms and picking up students, and it's a big building. I know that's not cardio, but I would be interested in how many steps. And maybe it would give me a better estimate of whether walks like today are a hike or a 3 mile walk.
