Alone Time With Hubby!

Saturday, August 17, 2013

So yesterday I told my Hubby that we should have taken off from work..He goes what for! I said so we can have some alone time since the kids are back in school..He goes oh ok! So early this morning around 5:30 he wakes me up and goes you ready for that time alone..I was like what(it's 5 something in the morning)..I still had my sleep high on..this man goes get up so you can help me put this fence up at the I have helped him do fences and I wanted some alone time but not like this..So I drag myself out of bed...finally got dress and siked up to help him(alone time)...but it was actually fun..he always make me laugh and he say that I do a good job(maybe we should go into business together)..Not! My Hubby is a good man but when it comes to working with him, you have to really do exactly what he says because he is the kind of guy that wants everything done mistakes because he will fuss at you..I experience it first hand by watching him with the guys that he pays to help him..So no I don't want to go into business with him..I will keep answering the phone for him!

We did get to eat breakfast together(it was nice)..after we got finish with the fence we went to Wal-mart and got the kids supplies for school(to expensive)..but I am not going to complain about the prices just happy we are able to buy them(Thank You Jesus) did rain while we were in Wal-mart..glad it didn't come down until we got finish with the fence!

Oh and I count this as a mini workout for me..I lift and carried heavy fencing also tools..did a lot of walking back and forth..but I am going to still get my usual workout in!

My alone time wasn't bad at all..but he will have to do better next time..I want to go out on the town!

Hope you all are enjoying your Saturday emoticon

You have such a special relationship that you can have fun working as well as playing with your hubby. Now, that is saying something. Your story kind of reminded me of the Tom Sawyer story where they tricked him into whitewashing the fence. Little did you know, that alone time meant fence time LOL. Thanks for the cute story! emoticon

Glad you work so well together. But now it's time to treat you like his queen with a night out on the town. emoticon

Sounds like fun but I think he still owes you alone time! I don't think most couples are cut out to work together, I know that when we do home improvement projects or putting things together, it is interesting to say the least!
Glad you had a mini workout and that you had fun together!
    Have a great Saturday!

Glad to hear that you got your alone time, even if it wasn't quite what you expected. It turned out fun for you anyways which is awesome too!

Glad you had a pretty good time with your hubby. I hope you soon get your style of alone time with him. I get plenty of time with my hubby, but our kids are grown. I still have to make an effort to make the time together special, because it's easy to take each other for granted. The kids have all been out of the house for 3 years now. One thing I keep thinking I want to do is surprise him at work with a picnic lunch, something I've never done for him before. It's all about being creative!
