What a world

It has been a rough time lately.
I live in a city that is plagued with violence, worsening recently. I attended a public meeting last night that included a whole litany of politicos, but more importantly about 300 citizens who want to know what they can do to help stop this. Tomorrow is a Peace March at 11 and I'll be there for that too. Funny, but doing the March and then jogging back home from City Hall will be my workout tomorrow.
It's been all encompassing for the last couple of weeks. A 74 year old minister, riding his bike to his daughter's house at night to care for her because she has MS was attacked by some punk with a hammer and killed. This has got to stop. I spoke last night, as did a couple dozen other people at this meeting. And I am working to be a part of all of this. I grew up here. It was a great place then. The previous city officials sold it out to the riff raff and we have to do something to save it.
So, stepping off my soap box now. I am just so tired after working all day and trying to get some school work done and this too. I have been slacking in my work outs. I'm still eating right, drinking enough water and all of that. But exercise is lacking a bit.
Love each other - the best you can. The alternative is very ugly indeed.
