4 weeks gluten free!

As of this Friday I will be 4 weeks gluten free. It turns out that I have Celiac Disease. I'm super happy that it was diagnosed and am feeling the effects of my body eating food that it's not trying to reject.

Added bonus; I'm down 10lbs without changing my caloric intake and exercise habits. Happy times!

Today was also my first day back at the gym in almost a year. I hate to admit that, but it's true.

Anyway, Yay for going back to the gym! Yay for not eating gluten! Yay for losing 10lbs! Woot!

    Good for you! Glad you are feeling better! I was advised to avoid gluten, not for celiac disease, but because my doctor thought it might help with some symptoms I have been having. Long story short, I did really well for awhile, then my son got sick, my life was turned upside down, and something had to give. What gave was the gluten-free diet. I do want to get back to it someday.
