I started out 2013 with a goal and the motivation needed to carry out that goal. I started collecting fitness equipment, lifting weights and doing some elliptical/cardio. I lost 43lbs from Feb 2013 to August 2013 and I haven't lost a single pound since.
I haven't gained either, so I call that a win. I went from 232 lbs to 189 and it feels amazing to see a 1 instead of a 2 on the scale. I believe I've 'tried it all' to break this thing. I added extra to workouts, I did different workouts, I ate more for a week, less for a week, stopped working out, ate at maintenance for a week, tried herbalife, tried hyroxycut, tried meticulously counting calories...I just don't know.
Here we are 3 months into 2014 and nothing has changed. 189.
