Walking: 2 mph (30 minutes per mile) 24 minutes 116 calories burned
Day 55 of exercise in 2014 (not a streak)

The pool water is still green and we put chlorine tabs in the skimmer to put more chlorine in the pool. The algae dies and turns white and floats as a foam on the surface of the pool. Sadly, even though we paid $50 more this year to have the pool opened, the water is not clear enough to swim in.

The weather was beautiful today. We had two severe thunderstorms yesterday and it was very windy during the last storm. We had hail, but the hailstones melted too quickly for me to see how big they were.

I did something to my knee and it hurts and has been hurting for about a week.

Temperatures at night are in the 40's, so the pool will not be warm enough to swim in for awhile. The solar cover just heats the surface water.

Bummer about the knee. My hip and knee annoy me at their complaints, but what can I do? The parts are wearing out!

Sorry the pool is not coming around. I remember those days. I used to hate fighting to get it all right! I am thankful now it is not my responsibility anymore-we have a community pool and one of our maintenance men is certified to care for it! emoticon

We are having terrible thunderstorms here every afternoon about 3 o clock. Hope you get the pool sorted before the weather gets hot.
