Our baby has arrived!

At 39 weeks I was more than ready for the arrival of our daughter.
On May 13th, via planned c-section, she arrived and our whole world changed for the better.
Evyn Page weighed 9 pounds, 4 ounces of awesome and was 20 inches long. Healthy and happy.
After losing 100 pounds I quite unexpectedly found myself pregnant last fall. I had almost given up hope of ever having a child. We had discussed that we both would like to try to have a baby, someday, down the road but our little girl had other plans. We nicknamed her "The Ninja" when we first saw her on ultrasound because of the funny flips and movements she was making and also the stealthy way she sneaked in there in the first place.
I gained about 60 pounds during my pregnancy, most of it towards the end. Now, 3 1/2 weeks postpartum I've lost half but have hit a plateau. I'm breast feeding so I don't intend to diet instead I've started walking, a little at a time to build up, and after I get the 6 week all clear from my doctor I'll start strength training. Hopefully those two things will help me to shave off the extra pounds without having to change my food intake.
I'm not looking forward to the rigors of weight loss again, I thought those days were behind me but I want to be fit and healthy for my daughter. I need to be my best for her and am willing to put in the work to get myself back to that level of fitness.
Love this little one so much, there's nothing I wouldn't do for her.
