I want to blog this life time journey I taken on, so here it goes. emoticon
I have been a yo-yo dieter since my teens. I've probably tried every diet out there and of course they only work for a short time. I usually ended up gaining back what I lost plus more. I am now 44 and I am so tired of being overweight. My son and future daughter in-law announced their engagement and set a wedding date for July 18, 2015. All I can think about is all those pictures that I am going to be in... emoticon YIKES! So I am going to lose this 60 lbs before then, slow and steady and in a healthy way. I'm NOT jumping in with both feet, I'm taking baby steps so I don't get overwhelmed. I want to lose 60 lbs and learn how to eat healthy and while I may never like exercising, I hope that it becomes a habit. I also want to quit my diet coke habit. Third is a hard Plain water is a hard one, so I am going to start infusing water with fruit & herbs and see if this helps. I am heading out on vacation at the end of the week, and will try to keep myself under control. I started this knowing I would be going on vacation but I didn't want to wait. I've started already with 30 minutes of walking and drinking 2 cups of water each day. When vacation is over, I will begin tracking my food and will have increased my water intake. I have to slowly decrease the amount of diet coke as I know I will get nasty headaches if I don't. So here is to me.....starting my lifetime change of eating and exercise! Here is to get healthy and fit! emoticon
