Did better today with KETOing

I am still at a loss as to how to balance the carbs, protein and fats.
Can do well with carbs as long as I eat no produce.
Protein count is still too high.
Consuming all the fat is nauseating.
I am open to any suggestions about how to do this KETO thing successfully.

SP has so much to offer and am probably just looking in the wrong places.

Had a really good day today.
Got a haircut, color and facial today and didn't pay a thing for them.
Why??? I bartered services!
I remain quite grateful!

    Why can't you eat "produce"? Are you talking veggies as produce? I eat Low Carb high fat- but my high fat is- whipping cream in my iced coffee, a Tablespoon of coconut oil, meat with fat (chicken skin, beef fat). I eat tomatoes, cabbage, broccoli, brussel sprouts, spinach, soups. No I don't eat fruit, but I eat berries like strawberries. (and a few blueberries)
    I don't "keto" but I could have keto coffee, just never have time :o)

    I wish I knew more about the diet you are on but I am not a fan of Atkins so I just don't know. Perhaps join an Atkins or low carb team on SP?

    Being you don't like to eat fatty foods, get yourself some Virgin Coconut Oil and put that over your veggies and in your teas and coffee. Don't forget to count the calories of the coconut oil. That should help you out a lot. emoticon

    I agree with Morticiaaddams, please check out the Atkins website or one of his books. It's not a good idea to cut out "produce". They have some sample menus on their site. I also like the blog I Breathe I'm Hungry (not a SparkPeople blog). This blog has about 12 weeks worth of sample menus and some fantastic recipes I am planning to try! Good luck!

    Great job on the bartering!! I used to do that for my training sessions-doesn't work any more with that trainer gone. Hope you can figure out the program.
