So I have the choice....eat what I want for dinner and have cake or to try to pick sensible things...
I think I am going to use today as a go all out day. I did well this week and know that a few hours of frivolity won't derail me.
I started taking a course on being a mindful eater. I think it will really help. They don't really talk about what to eat but as to why and how you eat. It is through my work's insurance.
I think I need to figure out some vegetables to eat during the week. Next week my goal is to do better at adding more vegetables to my mix. I also need to drink more water. I'm not doing well on that front.
I think I am going to try to reduce my redmeat consumption. I've been eating a lot of redmeat in the past year. My boyfriend likes to make humongous burgers and steaks. They taste great but I know they aren't the healthiest things in the world. He needs to quit eating as much of those too.
I do think my ability to eat a lot has gotten less this week. I feel like I can't fit as much food in my stomach before I am full.
