Tracker lost, Tracker found

Last night I lost my SparkTracker for the 3rd time...and found it for the 3rd time.

Last evening, near dusk, I was walking the dog on the bike trail east of town. Now this bike trail is pretty rough, and I had already skinned my hands on some gravel. Lulu the dog wanted to get off the bike trail and wander off next to the cornfield, so I followed her. Eventually though, we needed to get back on the bike trail to go home before it got completely dark. So I went trailblazing through some high weeds and wild grapevines and we got back to the trail. After walking about 100 yards, I looked down at my shoe so I could see if I'd made my goal yet for the day. NO TRACKER!!!
So, we went back that 100 yards, and I started going through the weeds we had just gone through looking for the tracker. No luck. After about 10 minutes looking I said to Lulu "Well, I knew this would happen can't expect to lose their tracker 3 times and get it back each time! I looked down at my shoe, and there, right next to it, was my tracker, ALL LIT UP, saying to me "Here I am, here I am!"
Someone knows that I need this tracker to stay at least a little bit engaged in exercise, so they won't let me lose it!
The tracker said I tracked two walk workouts, one of 23 minutes and one of 30 minutes, and both were at approximately the same time. The interval in between was when my tracker was having a little rest in the weeds.

Sounds like you need to mount it on a more secure clip. That's one of the things I love about the Garmin foot pods - they have this neat little panel that unclips and you click it back together around the shoelace.

Could you mount a safety pin on the back of it using some super glue or a welder buddy? :)

So happy you found it! I lost my Omron pedometer in a snow drift last winter and found it 5 days later in a melted puddle. I had searched so hard for that thing. And it was still working! Just love this thing even though some of the newer ones would be smaller and more discreet. Got a batch of bad batteries and blamed my pedometer, but it was innocent. We really get attached to these things! emoticon
