My First 5K Run

The view was wonderful, Historic Riverfront 5k, I was nervous starting out, but as time past, I start my deep thinking again, my whole plan was to walk the course, but I meet this lady 'I will call her J for short" she was a brisk walker, as she walk I jog along side of her, till we reach Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis, after that bridge I jog right past her while on this bridge I felt my mother presents being next to me, and just hearing whisper in my ear saying how proud she is of me doing this, and when I got to Historic mark 22 I wanted to stop jogging and walk the rest of the way but my friend in Kenya came to my mind saying I can do this, ( he's been with since I started this Journey to a new me and even though he is distance he still push me to my limits in journey) then that lady J came from nowhere and she was saying keep going you are doing great, keep it up you are half way there. when I saw the bridge and the time clock I pick the jogging pace and ran to the finish line. I finish the race under 40minutes.
I feel great and I am going to embrace the changes that are coming ahead.
