Co-Ed Run/Walk

Tuesday, November 25, 2014

My hubby joined me for the co-Ed Run/Walk clinic. I didn't like having him there at first because he ALWAYS had to criticize something I was doing. I wasn't pumping my arms right. My feet weren't hitting the pavement right. I was moving too slow. Stuff like that. Who wants to hear that?? Well, I did get a compliment from him FINALLY! Tonight I wasn't in the mood for any mess & I think he knew that. He didn't get to far ahead of me because my pump was indicating I was having a low blood sugar level. Diabetes suck by the way. I can't do much of anything without this pump beeping. Predicted low or predicted high - beep! I guess it's doing what it was made to do but I do wish I didn't have to deal with it. My life, my journey.

    You guys look AWESOME!

Yes, our guys can appear to be critical when they think they are being helpful, but you gotta give them credit for coming out with us! I wouldn't do 1/10 as much as I do if I had to do it on my own.

Sorry about the diabetes, but you are doing a great job taking care of it -- and yourself!!
