“If at first you don’t succeed . . . so much for skydiving.” Henny Youngman

I have been on a “diet” many times. I bet I’ve loss a cumulative total of 150 or more pound. However, I always gained it back. Generally speaking, there was always an event that caused the diet failure. Once I reached that point, I gave up. A few weeks, months, or years later I start a new diet. Inevitably, that diet too would fail. One day after another failure, I was looking online for a new “diet” plan when I discovered Spark People. I thought I give it a try after all it was free and what did I have to lose (but 20 or 30 pounds).

While I still have a ways to go with my weight loss, Spark People has given me the tools and the motivation to keep trying. I am never going to diet again! I am committed to improve my health and wellness lifestyle. Sticking with Spark is succeeding.

That quote is AWESOME! I am like you - I have probably lost over 100 lbs, I just couldn't manage to keep it off. But I do think that everytime you lose weight, you learn something that you can use the next time and eventually, it will all come together. So glad you found Spark People.

    So true about skydiving! emoticon

Great approach you're taking - the word "diet" has a very restrictive connotation to it, and I think that's why so many people fail when they take that apprach (and the mindset that goes along with it)........keep up the great work!
