What's behind Door #1?

Sunday, February 22, 2015

Good morning world! I looked outside and was amazed at God's beautiful creations! Not to mention I was over joyed that we escaped the snow yesterday! Don't get me wrong it's beautiful, but I would much rather see the beauty from a television set lol.

Now you ask what does that have to do with my blog? It really doesn't, but I wanted to start my blog off that way because at times we don't give enough thanks to God for all the wonders around us!
Now, onto my blog. Do you ever have days where you ask yourself, "What if I make this decision? What will be behind door #1? or door #2? We make decisions every day and we must live with those decisions in our lives because God gives us free will. Some of the decisions are easy, like what to wear or what time do I set my alarm clock for to get up and go to work?
Other decisions are not so easy. Like when should I buy a new car or a new house? What bills should I pay off with my tax refund so that I make good use of the resources that God has given me. We all have to make decisions and weather hard or easy, God is with us every step of the way if we just listen to him!
Sometimes, he wants us to take what is behind door #1 because he knows that is what is best for us! However, we might struggle with that and decide we have to have what is behind door #2! We sometimes let our own desires dictate what we need in this lifetime.
No matter what door we open, God is always with us and he will never forsake us! That you can always depend on! Amen!
