10,000 steps a day

My goal this year is to take at least 10,000 steps each day. I have a step counter and watch it carefully. I have not reached my goal for the past few days. Even on Monday with my pre-dinner 2.25 mile walk, I had to take another short walk before bed to reach goal. I am trying to be more mindful and get up and walk around the office during the day, especially since that study recently came out saying that sitting is as bad as smoking. emoticon
