Part 2 of "snow pics" blog

These past few days were amazing! Going to Williams to see the snow was beyond my expectations . The snow fall that we had overnight was something that I had never dreamed of.
Being in Phoenix for 60 years and not being around snow except seeing it in the movies on tv.......it was pretty spectacular. Yes...I have seen snow and even played in it but never had I been in the snow just after it had fallen and left a beautiful blanket of "purity".
I enjoyed the past 2 days but it was time to go home.
We decided to go back through Oak Creek canyon and Sedona.
We were here in Sept. and this creek had been dry except or a very few places. This day, it was running fast due to all the melted snow up on the rim.
This bridge is by a tourist attraction called "slide rock". It is near Sedona
It is not raining, nor had it been raining. This was the snow that was melting from the ground above and melting through the rocks down to the creek. I thought it was very interesting.
We did follow rain most of the way home. It fell just ahead of us and left us clean, fresh air.
When we arrived home....there was a rainbow in the sky to greet us. GOD had definitely been there with us on our trip.
Thank you GOD for YOUR beauty
