Looking at the Pictures

Took family pictures this weekend and have realized that I really need to get serious about adding some healthy activities to my daily life and cut back on the eating out. I've been in denial for a bit about the weight I've been putting on. I'm not down on myself but I realize that I need to make some changes so that I am setting the right example for my 3 children. I want to have more energy to take them and do fun activities.

I hurt myself a few months back...broke or badly bruised my tailbone when I missed my chair and instead found myself sitting on the floor. I'm finally feeling better and was even able to walk in the Cooper River Bridge Run in Charleston at the end of March...but I walked instead of trying to run much. I did try running a bit but could still feel a bit of jarring so just walked and I make it over the Bridge in one piece and no one had to carry me. emoticon I just need to get back into the habit of walking again and start including some strength training while watching TV/a movie.

I know I can do this. I just need to get myself in gear.
