Next week menu- PLANNED

Saturday, April 11, 2015

This is our dinner menu for this week.
Breakfast- smoothies with fruit, yogurt, almond milk and homemade shakeology mix.
Lunch- Salads and leftovers from dinner (I bring my lunch to work all the time)

Today has been going well. We slept in till 10 (woooo hooo) and then up, breakfast smoothie, and W1D3 of C25K. Today the running intervals went up to 60 seconds. I got a stitch in my side at the 1/2 way point. BUT I DID IT. I ran each interval and did not stop running till the app told me to. I LOVE the C25K Free app. Today's running soundtrack was Beck's "Odelay!" album. Apparently I have some really fun running music on my iPhone.

Last night I made sushi at home. I am self taught for the most part from youtube videos and google search. Trevor and I took one class at a local restaurant a couple of years ago and I just thought "Challenge? ACCEPTED!" Here's my latest batch of rolls. I made Spicy Tuna, Spicy Crab, Philly Bagel Roll, Texi-Cali Roll and some specialty mix rolls.

And NOW... for the last 4 chapters of my class. I have today and tomorrow to really hunker down, get the chapter quizzes done and then take the Final before the 15th. So far--- 94% or better on each quiz. ROCKIN IT!

Happy Saturday all! Here's some photos of our friend's retirement ceremony from the USMC yesterday:

Yay for healthy food planning, good running and sushi! I'm not very good at making sushi, but it is fun. You look adorable in the last picture. I hope that you are as happy in your heart as you look in that photo!
