Home at Last! Feeling like a new person!

As most of my friends here on Spark know, I took a couple of weeks off to regroup after losing my neice to cancer. I needed to step away from things and reorganize myself.

Now after a week in New Mexico visiing my sister and doing some site seeing and shopping. I am backas of yesterday afternoon. With a better outlook on getting my weight under control along with my diabetes.

My two sisters who were in New Mexico also are diabetics along with my brother in law who was there also. During the week the four of us had the best blood sugar readings we have had in a long time. We did this simply by going back to the basics. I have vowed to myself to keep up the same eating habits that we used while this vacation.

I haven't weighed as of yet. I will do that Thursday at my TOPS meeting an see if I have lost any weight. I have high hopes of having lost at least a pound.

I miss my neice,m but I know that she is in a better place now and no longer suffering from the intense pain that she had been having.
