I hopped on the scale on a whim although I knew I haven't been behaving for the past week or so. I've been snacking on peanut butter Twix and sorta shortened my walks to 30 minutes give or take 5.
Well... to my surprise, I was out of the 190 club. It doesn't matter if I am one M&M away from 190 but it was so good to see that 180 ballpark again.
It then occurred to me I haven't been stressing about my weight loss like I tend to do but just allowed myself to take it day-by-day. I stay within calorie range whether I've indulged in something "bad," performed some sort of exercise even if it's just a few sets of squats in the kitchen while waiting for the oven to pre-heat or the water to boil. Plus... I'm only drinking water. I also don't beat myself up if I skip a day.
The key is... to keep this going.
