So Far, So Good...

This LCHF plan is working well for me. The calories add up faster with more-than-usual fat, but I really am less hungry and am moving toward just 2 meals a day and not eating after late afternoon. This will be thrown into chaos to some extent by my birthday festivities. I will not eat bread at dinners out. I never eat it at home anyway. I will not eat dessert with the exception of the special birthday dinner that has already be arranged, and not even then unless something has been arranged with the restaurant. I will try to keep the carbs low, which should be easy in a fancy steakhouse where everything is a la carte anyway.

The toughest part may be the brunch at my daughter's country club this Sunday, but then I have total control over what I put on my plate. The dessert table is always very tempting...wish me luck!

    Thanks! Picking Daniel up at the airport this afternoon. At least if the chaos of United's computers being down nationwide doesn't affect him. He's flying Southwest, but the Tampa airport could be crazy. We'll see. I was hoping not to have to pick him up during rush hour, but it may work out that way. I'm determined to have fun, and I'm dragging him to trivia tonight.
