This LCHF plan is working well for me. The calories add up faster with more-than-usual fat, but I really am less hungry and am moving toward just 2 meals a day and not eating after late afternoon. This will be thrown into chaos to some extent by my birthday festivities. I will not eat bread at dinners out. I never eat it at home anyway. I will not eat dessert with the exception of the special birthday dinner that has already be arranged, and not even then unless something has been arranged with the restaurant. I will try to keep the carbs low, which should be easy in a fancy steakhouse where everything is a la carte anyway.
The toughest part may be the brunch at my daughter's country club this Sunday, but then I have total control over what I put on my plate. The dessert table is always very tempting...wish me luck!
