First day of school

Wednesday, August 12, 2015

Today was the first day of school for my daughters. One is a freshman and the other is a junior. I can't believe it. I'm so proud of them. My youngest is in the marching band and has already made a few new friends. I hope this continues with the rest of her classes. (She is shy and a lot of her friends went to the other high school). She should be getting off the bus in a few minutes and I can't wait to see how it went. My oldest has cross country practice after school and will get to see her later!

It’s so important that they feel loved no matter what. You’re a good mom and they will love sports, too you set the example. I remember, my daughter used to skate with me when I was running and later she would run, too. She still runs regularly.

Our first day is next Monday, open house is tonight. My little boy is going into 4th grade at a new school and I think I'm more nervous than he is!

I'm sure both your girls will have a great time - first days are always full of energy!
