So many things can happen that cause us to gain. Of course, eating out of control. But some medications can and emotional eating can and even some health issues can. I just looked my weight report on SP and I gained 49 pounds from January 1 to February 1. That was because of a beta blocker (Metropalol). Today my cardiologist changed my meds. Hope this helps. Also, I had surgery (knee replacement) on January 6 so that cut down on my fitness. Another strike against me. So I am setting new goals and taking a positive attitude and trying to keep it. I hope all goes well for you. WE CAN DO THIS. Hugs, Mama Judy

I so understand! From 2010-2015 I've gained 40. I was told last week by the doctor to lose. I have a back issue that could leave me crippled if I don't. Now THAT is motivating! Send me spark mail if you want to talk.

I had a hard time getting motivated after surgery made me gain 30 pounds I had just list the year before. I planned a weekend trip and pulled out my favorite skinny outfit. I haven't lost all of it yet...but I will!!
