Friday and Saturday

Sunday, November 08, 2015

Friday was a day of complete exhaustion. Energy tank was on empty. Made it to an early doctors appointment and then home. Had to sit in the car for 15 minutes before I felt strong enough to move. Then it was a direct path to the couch. Tried reading and kept falling asleep. Went on the laptop and same thing happened. Caved in and slept the rest of the day. Ate leftovers for dinner and, you guessed it, went to bed. Slept until 8 AM.

Saturday was a different story. Ate breakfast and took my large thermal mug of coffee with me to a meeting. Socialized after and enjoyed getting out. Ran my errands with ease. Prepared a bunch of pork loin chops. One for dinner and the rest in the fridge for instant dinner starters. Caught up on emails and finished my book. It was almost bedtime and was able to blog about what a difference a day can make.

Yes, life is like a box of chocolates!

Sounds like giving into the fatigue and going to bed was just what you needed. Sometimes our bodies know what they need and insist on having it. I'm glad you had a better day!

I have a friend with MS and she has taught me that it is really important to listen to your body and do what it is telling you. Sounds like you have understood that message completely so that's very good. Here's hoping you get many more good days!

Listen & follow what your body tells will never steer you wrong...when it was exhausted, its message was REST ME...& you did...then your energy became restored & you had more on day 2....who knows what day 3 will bring you....

    have a great day....
