The light at the end of the tunnel

I am coming to a point that I must say has been one of the most challenging, yet rewarding times of my life. I was glancing back at my previous blogs and I saw when I had just started going to college, and within a few weeks I will be graduating with my Associates in Human Services, and I'm praying that I'll pass the test for the HSBCP licensing also. It has been such a challenging semester, on my job they increased my hours so that I am now working 40 hrs a week, and I have to take a minimum of 2 classes to qualify for financial aid, so I am doing that, and I have been doing 12 hrs a week for my internship class. Not to mention the quizzes, and papers that I have to and have had to write...very challenging time to say the least. But in about 3 weeks I will be done with my internship, and the class that accompanies it, and the following week I will be done with my online class. I wish I had stayed focus during this journey as far as my weight loss, but alas, I did not. But I am embarking on a new endeavors as I continue in my education, moving towards a bachelors, and all the "stuff" that goes along with that. But it is my goal to stay focused on my weight loss, and actually start making healthier decisions, and not put it off until the new year. On my job I signed up for a wellness program, called maintain, don't gain, to incent employees to keep the holiday weight gain at bay. One small step, and praying that it reaps great rewards!!

Lots on your plate. And nice to hear you are watching what is on your dinner plate.
