Half way through the first half

Today makes five days that I have been doing the elimination diet that I'm trying. The first stage is 10 days with no dairy (except goat cheese), no corn, no wheat, and no nightshade vegetables (tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, eggplants). I have also been caffeine free for that whole time. A couple of things that I've found is that doing no wheat and no corn the same time is hard. The other thing is that the nightshade limitation is the hardest of all. I realized how much I have always loved my peppers and spicy seasonings. On the positive side I have found some new replacement seasonings that are fun to try. So far if I have noticed anything it has been the withdrawal symptoms. Saturday (day one) actually wasn't bad. Sunday I developed a terrible headache in the evening that lasted all the way to Monday night. Tuesday wasn't do bad but then Tuesday night I woke up in the middle of the night with vicious leg pain. All day today I have had all over body aches, like when you have the flu but without the being sick part. With all that being said, you might think I'd be ready to give in but instead I am feeling more determined than ever. I feel like I have clearly eliminated something that had a big influence, hence the weird symptoms. Besides that, I took a sneak peek on the scale today and I am officially down 2 pounds on spark. (Actually three because I entered my weight wrong on the first day) Can't argue with that.
