Progress...Slow but Steady

I got my Fitbit 25 miles badge yesterday. emoticon Since January 2, I have logged 25 miles of walking. I know that some people do that with no problem: however, for me, exercise has always been something I needed to push myself to do. That is why I got the Fitbit in the first place. I was hoping having a constant reminder to move more would help. It did.

I am proud of my progress. I am shooting for the 10k steps a day. I haven't made it yet, but I will. For now, I am trying to do no less than 5k steps (2 miles) a day. According to the fitness categories, I have become an "active couch potato." Maybe one day I'll be able to drop the "couch potato," and just be active.

For now being down 5 pounds and walking 25 miles in two week merits a "two thumbs up" in my book. I am happy with my progress. emoticon

"Slow and steady" WILL win this race.
