It's Not All About The Scale

I couldn't weigh myself this week because I need to get a new scale and I can't get it until next week. However, I found something interesting happening to me. I am not at all worried about what the scale is going to reveal. I normally would be, and I would be waiting to see if I could pat myself on the back, or say screw it, I knew I didn't lose any, why do I bother. This time is different. I have tracked my food every day for the past 7 days, and I have kept to my calorie range without any trouble. I know for sure that I have lost some weight because of the way I FEEL. I feel better, I feel healthier, less tired, and I can move around with at least slightly less pain in my leg.After falling down a flight of stairs many years ago, the arthritis I have in my ankle, knee and hip is quite severe. Walking is terribly painful, and I am hopeful that losing weight is going to improve this greatly.Anyway, I just wanted to share that its not all about the number on the scale. Its about how you FEEL!!!
