I'm Karmann. I'm 56 and just spent the last year loosing 60 lbs. I've gained 60 of those lbs back practically overnight. Why does it take an instance to gain weight, but it takes forever to loose it? One thing I have to admit - I am a sugar addict. It becomes my focus. It's all I want to eat. I actually end up hiding it so my husband won't know how much I'm eating. And it's specific textures and flavors, not just any sugar will do. I've not admitted this to anyone. The specific flavor and texture is cream cheese icing in the plastic container. It's my down fall. Must be my ultimate comfort food, but is actually kryptonite. I've been sugar free for about a week. I've already lost 6 lbs. That's encouraging, but I know as an addict, I must stay away. So, I am requesting support to remain sugar free. Thank you for reading.

It sounds like you're doing good. Anytime you're tempted, just think about those 6 lbs you were able to drop.

You are half way through to the goal and that is knowing what makes you do what you do, the habits and patterns. Now you need to determine how to ensure you break this habit and pattern so you are not a slave to it.
