God Always Provides. It’s Your Job To Ask

When I was a kid, any time I needed something, I’d go talk to my dad. Sometimes what I needed was expensive, but I remember that not once as a kid did I worry about where my father was going to get the money for whatever I needed. That wasn’t my job! It was my dad’s job to figure out where the money was going to come from. It was my job as a kid to simply ask.

I think we all did that when we wanted something, was to go to our Daddy's and ask him for something, a ball, a bat, a toy, a new bike for Christmas and we always got
it. Maybe like my Parents, it took 2 incomes just to send 2 girls to school, buy them the best clothes, groceries, even though we were girls, we could put away the food,
so could our Daddy! Yes I was a Daddy's Girl, unfortunately both my Parent's are in Heaven with God. You know there was a reason why God did this, He took Daddy in
2004 & Mom in 2010. Just as soon as I got used to having only one Parent, then He took Mom. Maybe He's teaching me how to live alone & depend on me! Life was rough when I was working. I hope you have a Blessed Day on the Lord's Day! LYL!

God works in mysterious ways... I started to read a library book the other night called "God, You've Got Mail". The author would pretend that when she received a bill in the mail, that the bill would be addressed to God. Then, she'd pray to God for money and the bills were always covered!

Until two nights ago, I realized that I had never prayed to God for money!

    Then, you presented this blog!!!!!

    Neat, huh?

    Thank you.

Rick Warren knows how to preach it.. God our Father knows how to answer us and it may not be what we want to hear...It's all in His timing!

You're right. I never thought about where my dad would get the money to buy things. What a great way to explain how we should completely trust in God the Father. I couldn't get the rest to open up to read but, I needed this today. Thank you
