So close to 30

Thursday, February 11, 2016

The crappy part of writing down your goals is that when you don't hit them you have written down proof of your failure. lol Well I just read my last blog post from August and the goals I set to achieve by the time I turn 30 (May 21) and while I am on track to pay the debt off by then I have actually gained weight since so the odds of reaching my goal weight are slim to none. I know I just need to start now and even if I'm not AT goal by my birthday I'll be closer than I am today but still struggling. Anyways just checking in even though no real progress to report

Maybe try looking at it as you are working towards that goal and not that you didn't make it before your birthday. It's really hard setting a date for weight loss, but at the same time it helps me stay more focused. The scale is evil LOL.

Absolutely . . . you'll be further ahead no matter which way it goes if you start vs. doing nothing!

Good to see you back on here, I hope you're doing well!
Don't stress about not meeting all of those goals, you're still doing great!

I agree with jibbie. Not gaining is a huge success! keep it going!

Judith Beck PhD says in the "Beck Diet Solution" that not GAINING is a success, so I understand why you are upset. Make a decision today to not overeat and stay with it. If you are around a man, then don't eat when he does at night, because it is one of the main reason we women get fat. We can't eat like men.
Turning 30 is a big deal. I remember very well doing it 36 years ago. It seems like just yesterday.
