Once you reach goal it's a whole new ball game. In my opinion once you reach goal and start the maintenance phase it is more difficult than the whole weight loss journey itself. I know because I have gained weight after I reached my goal but noticed something interesting.
I noticed that some not so happy but familiar feelings cropped up lately:
- back ache
- knee pain
- energy level has diminished
- clothing not comfortable lately
- Not as excited and happy as I was just after reaching goal
So I am using this as a warning sign that I have to stop the bad practices and make this my number 1 priority to get back to goal. I will not do my typical wait until Monday, I am starting right now.
If anyone is having the same problem you need to get in touch with yourself, your body is telling you just how bad you feel with the extra weight your carrying.
