Praise the Lord It's Fri-Yay!

So not sure if you all know this yet but it is totally Fri-YAY! And this will pretty much be me at 4:30...

So Wednesday was weigh in and I was shocked and excited to see 285.5 staring back at me. I was hoping for 286 so the little extra really made me excited! Down 4.5 this week and 6.9 total since restarting 3 weeks ago. I still have a LONG ways to go and alot of learning to do. Wednesday and Thursday were bad in the food department and I honestly don't even know why. One thing I do know is I worked out both days and am proud of the progress I'm making. Progress not perfection!

This morning I woke up and did the Full Out CIZE routine. It went alot better then on Monday but I still had to take alot of breaks along the way. One thing that really makes it hard is this one move where you twist 180 degrees and jump on one foot...hard to explain but it hurts my knees pretty bad and tires me out quite quickly. Overall though, I'm happy with my progress so far. I plan on making the next 5 days really count in the food department and do my best to stay in my calorie range!

Yesterday, I went and got measured for a bridesmaids dress and OMG what horrible numbers the woman gave me. I can't believe that I am so huge. Ok I can believe it but seeing the numbers made me question if a dress was big enough to fit me. Unfortunately those numbers did not keep me from stuffing my face last night but it is staying in the back of my mind and I really want to lose 40 pounds before that wedding in September..have to just keep pushing.

I joined the Spring 5% Challenge...I asked to be on the Starfish team but I haven't heard back regarding what team I will be on yet. I am really excited to join a new challenge and meet a new group of people. Things in my other groups have been going well. It is the second week now for the Diamonds and we are in Week 9 of BLC30.

I also just planned a trip to Chicago for the beginning of September. Some of you might remember myself taking my son to Milwaukee last year around the same time...this year we are doing Chicago and going for 2 nights and 3 days. We are going to be staying at the Hilton Chicago on Michigan Avenue so I am really excited to go! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Chicago! :)

I think that is all the news I have for today! Just wanted to check in and say emoticon

Have an amazing weekend! Not much planned for son has 2 birthday parties tomorrow but other than that it is cleaning and relaxing for this lady!

    You're doing GREAT Zana!! I'm glad you signed up for the 5% as well. Invites should be going out soon, since our start date is the 26th.
    I've never been to Chicago, but would like to go some day.
    And don't worry about the numbers. You're working toward your goals, so that's all you can do. The rest is up to your body. Just keep plugging away at your workouts, eat MINDFULLY (lol yes, caps...I'm yelling that at you lol) and the rest will take care of itself!

    Chicago is a great place to visit! I live in northwest Indiana and don't go up there that often, but a year and a half ago, my brother and I took my nephews to the Lincoln Park Zoo (the free zoo) and had some fun up there. Hope you enjoy your trip!

    Use caution with your knees in the workout. You don't want to hurt them. Sounds like you're doing well even with some slip-ups. Those things happen. Sometimes we feel like we're handling things well emotionally but then we turn to food. I have done that a lot lately and it's hard to get back on the right track but is still possible. Like you said, you're striving for progress, not perfection :)

    If that Hilton in Chicago is right across from Millenium Park, I stayed in that same hotel when i was there! awesome location!! Very central location & our view was of the fountain, so beautiful!

    You seem to be kicking some butt! Just keep it in the back of your mind your goal & it will keep you on track when going gets tough! You've got this!
