“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” Psalms 23:1-4
During this past month these verses have taken on a new meaning to me. As I laid in the hospital wondering about the outcome of my sickness it was God that walked with me through that valley. It is His hand of provision that is providing for me while I'm out of work, and it is He who has brought me besides the still waters. Yet in doing so, He used many of His children. Thank you to those who, under Gods prompting, have provided financially. Thank you to my wife who has stayed by my side to care for me and who drove 2 hours in a storm to bring me to place of quiet and rest while I slept in the car. Thank you to Bob and Vanessa for opening their home on the lake and taking care of us for a couple days so we could be refreshed, and thank you to all who keep praying.
