Rant

Wednesday, April 20, 2016

Okay so I have been very successful in working on myself. Lifestyle wise. Recently some crappy events have taken place and I'm taking it out on my body by eating bad and not exercising. I refuse to take backwards steps on my journey, but I am in a rut. I have very bad anxiety and I am just all over the place. Everyone in my household is not supportive at all. I realize they are trying, but to be honest they are making it worse not better. I'm looking for some motivation and support. I really could use it, loves.

a really good exercise when you have high anxiety is to use your imagination (just like a kid). Envision yourself successful, think of the future when you've met your goals. Keep replacing all negative thoughts with positive ones. When your family/friends/coworkers keep offering you food or trying to sabotage you, imagine yourself eating something healthier instead and feeling better. Imagine that awesome feeling after you've said no and done well. It's the same for most goals, money, career, school etc. Keeping that focus clear is what keeps the motivation up.

It also is a good "calming" mechanism and tells your anxiety/worry "yes things are overwhelming but see what I will accomplish as I work through this?"

Sorry to write so much but I have very bad anxiety as well. My brother is extremely GUILTY for sabotaging me (A LOT!)
Hope you have a good day, smile and tell yourself it will be an awesome day and enjoy it!
Sorry you are going through a lot but as other commenters said, it will pass!

Take some deep breaths. Look inside for answers. I'm not kidding, I also have anxiety (over many things) but taking those slow deep breaths helps calm me. I have a couple of meditation recordings that I listen to and they help a lot.

It's not as bad as it feels (and I know it feels really BAD!!!!! I've been convinced that feeling would literally kill me). Just give yourself that space to breathe.

    It gets better.
