My new gym

Monday, June 06, 2016

It's not crowded or hot or smelly. I don't have to wait for equipment or struggle to find a parking place. There's no joining fee or dues. There's usually a lovely breeze coming through, and there's always a beautiful view. It doesn't have the latest equipment, though, or much equipment at all. There are a couple of really hairy guys who occasionally get their junk near my face as I am planking, or who get a little noisy and rowdy while I am just counting my reps and trying to mind my own business. They even plop down right next to me as I'm doing crunches. They have zero qualms about breathing into my face. They're cute, and quite protective of me, and they adore me as I do them, so I tolerate them. There are some days I'm a bit less tolerant and we squabble a bit over their lack of manners and trampling of my personal space. Overall, I am really liking my new gym, which is located on the lower, back deck of my house. As a matter of fact, I'm heading there now. My gym buddies will be thrilled.

Epic gym!!! Hey, no crackling loud bubble gum pop music either. Yaaaaaaaaas!
What are the Yelp reviews like for this 'gym'? :)))
    Gorgeous view too.
Does it have those fun goat hills you used to do? Nope, I'm never gonna let that go...

I am laughing out loud thinking about your fur babies (gym buddies) Buster and Hunter breathing in your face. I have my yoga mat which I plop down on the front room floor and my fur buddy Mr. Spot always plops down beside my head. . . and he doesn't always part his head end there! Hmmmm
    gorgeous view!

According to research, our bodies really, really like fresh air. Makes 'em happy and eager to take on the day. Your gym sounds perfect! I wish you could join me in my gym. I lack the loving, enthusiastic 4-legged personal trainers, but the mountain air (what little oxygen there is) is brisk and fresh. Keep up the great work! You're a winner!

Your gym buddies are like mine, I get rewarded with a lick to the face for every push-up or squat I do. Enjoy the outdoor gym, my lunch time walking route is too hot for a noon jaunt, so taking lunch early to walk before the heat.

My gym buddies, aka my dogs Buster and Hunter, would not cooperate to be in the photo because cooperation isn't really their thing. Pooping and peeing around "the gym" IS their thing, however.

I cannot see the picture, but I assume the new gym is outdoors and your gym buddies are your dogs. :-)
I have a cat that gets all over me whenever I finish a workout and lay on the floor to stretch. She loves my sweaty smelly hair and is soooo annoying as she rubs her face in it.

Have fun in your new gym!
