3 months going to the gym and only gained weight

I'm trying not to be discouraged but I've worked out at the gym. Eaten below the max Valerie intake but only gained 7 lbs but gained 18 lbs of muscle which I guess is an achievement but I'd like the weight to come off too.

    I haven't measured myself but I think I look better in my swimsuit at least I "think" I do. My tummy seems flatter. So I guess that's progress. Thanks for the encouragement ☺️

    Gaining muscle is a good thing. .it helps burn calories even after u stop working out. So ur doing well. The scale is just one aspect of it. You can feel the difference. Your doing great 😊

    Our bodies can do weird things, so don't read into it too much. But yes, I'm sure you've gained a little muscle (which weighs more than fat). Just keep staying on track and the weight will take care of itself!!
