Back Again

Back to the weight I was at 7 years ago....or I assume I am. I was pretty close when I finally just hid the scale out of desperation. Starting over for the 546th time, sometimes it feels like I will be fighting these same battles for the rest of my life. Can't believe I let myself get back up to being this heavy....

    Try not to feel like that. Do not let yourself feel like you will do this over and over again. Choose to make this the last time. Do SMALL steps and just work on it. I like to pick the WORST thing I am doing for myself (dessert every evening, snacking between work and dinner, zero exercise, eating work snacks....whatever it might be) and tackle that first. It will make the biggest impact and give you a jump start.

    For me, right now, I mentioned to you that it was eating the candy that has been around from the kid's birthday parties. I have chose to work on that first and not worry too much about everything else. My 3 changes this week have been: 1. working on eliminating candy (or using it as a treat ONE time per day), 2. drinking at LEAST 3 liters of water, and 3. tracking on SP again.

    I always tell myself that, as hard as it is right now, it'll never get easier than this to lose the weight so I better not wait.

    No make up ur mind that this is the last time ur going to do this. And make it the last time u actually do it because this is ur permanent lifestyle!

    This time will be the last time. One day at a time. I read all the articles at SP about setting goals. emoticon
