I didn't abandon ya'll I promise It's been a hectic summer to say the very least. Remember my very awful co-worker. If not, go back to some of my blogs mostly starting with the word "rant", that should bring you up to date. Well due to medical reason she has decided to retire so to speak. She did this at the start of my vacation in June, so of course even in leaving she made my lifw hell as I had to work through my vacation since she just up and left. Since then I have been running this show solo. And even though there have been some days it's been so overwhelming I don't know how I'm going to manage, for the most part, things have been so much better. So much less stress. I have been told they are not replacing her so it's just me! My hours changed too. I use to work 8-5 and I got my workout in at 7 at the gym with the rest of my gym rats. My hours are now 6-3, which means I haven't had my morning workouts :( . At first I thought I'd be able to move my hours around, but because of the way our system works it just doesn't seem it's going to happen. So one of my morning workout gals and I came up with a plan. We are going to meet Tues- Thurs at the gym and start the Women's Rules for Weight Lifting program again. And I have Insanity Monday and Saturday so that leaves Friday and Sunday for other things, like running since I still plan on doing the half marathon in Disneyworld.

So I guess I have a plan, the plan starts this week. I also am taking a different approach to my nemesis.... tracking food. I need to think of it as a separate entity. And I need to take it meal by meal. I've started saying to myself, several times a day in fact, it doesn't have to be perfect it just has to be tracked. I say that and then I log and sometimes it's not pretty but I did it. And I need to separate it from my workouts. I tend to think I can over eat when I've worked out. And I'm not talking a few calories here and there, I'm talking like things I shouldn't eat period and then using my workout as my reason why. So my eating is one thing... my workout it something completely different. One of these days I'll find something that works for me.

So I haven't gave up on Spark I just don't know how much time I have for it. My day is pretty full now but I will try to check in when I can. I getting into a rhythm here so I may be able to check in more than I'm anticipating. I miss you all and hope all is going well.

    I was just now stopping by to leave you a comment and saw that I had missed this post! I have just finished a hellacious work project myself so I appreciate that there is just less time for Sparkin' sometimes. I do hope you pop in to say hi if you can! And I'm glad crazy psycho coworker retired. Your early hours are...well, early! I imagine that has caused some changes at home too? DH and DD adjusting to that ok too I hope.

    Good luck with your goals...the secret is finding what works and sometimes it seems like a well kept secret!

    So glad you have a less stress work environment now! I've heard of that weight lifting for women program, my friend did it and she really liked it.
    Which Disney HM are you doing? I'd like to do one of them, just not sure which one.

    I've been having the same problems with food. I can't reward myself after a workout with food. Good luck!
