Two months absence explained
Sunday, September 04, 2016
My last blog post was on July 5th.
Long story short, the next day, my boyfriend broke up with me. I was in Regina getting my car fixed and waiting for him to come back from the Netherlands. He broke up with me on the phone while in Toronto at the airport.
Followed my giving a two weeks notice at work, planning my return to my home province of Quebec (after two breakups in Saskatchewan, I had no desire to stay there, especially since I had JUST moved in with him a month before he dumped me, to a different city where I knew nobody), getting somewhat laid off from work and having to leave earlier than planned. On July 12th my car was packed with most of my stuff (he was going to send the rest by bus, I had too much for my little car) and it took me five day to make it home. The trip didn't go well - I had a hotel problem, then nasty car problems (turns out it didn't get fixed properly before I left).
I'm now living in Quebec City, I've had my apartment for a month and I got a new job I really like.
I gained a little bit of weight and haven't been that active, but to be honest I really couldn't care less right now. My focus is self-care, and healing from this really bad breakup and from having my life turned upside down once again.
Which also means SP is on the bottom of my priorities right now, but I'll catch up on the two months I've missed now. I probably won't be back for a while again (if I ever come back, we'll see) but I wanted to explain my sudden absence.
P.S. I'm doing fine, I'm better now even though I'm still struggling with the emotions. But only time can heal this wound, so I'm trying to enjoy my new life, being back in Quebec and close to my family and friends.
