What Will it Take? Part 2

I recently asked how others avoided holiday gain and learned that I am definitely not alone with this problem. Some of the great advice offered was:
"Eat what you want on Thanksgiving and Christmas, only one serving. A taste of everything of the best foods. Moderation and discipline. Maintain current weight. Track food, write yourself encouraging notes, do not go to parties hungry, avoid junk table, bring a healthy snack. Drink plenty of water, daily exercise. Choose treats carefully. Lots of salad. Try walk/run instead of walk, ST, walk 5 times weekly."
I CAN do Most of this! I can also weigh regularly, slow down my eating and pay close attention to my hunger level . I can stop eating when satisfied. There are so many things I CAN do to be successful this year. What I can't and won't do is expect perfection and beat myself up when I fall short. I do not want a repeat of last year. Like I said before it gets harder each year to lose those unwanted holiday pounds. This is the year. I CAN do this!
