hi everyone, It has been so long that I have been on here. sorry. I have been so busy.

I have now been doing home dialysis for 15 months, finally in the rhythm that works for me. I have had no problems with dialysis for some time now, was having problems for a while.

I started going to the Salvation Army Church in February of this year, now a volunteer there as from May this year, I work in the office 2 days a week (about 6 to 8 hours) but I also volunteer where ever they need help. Total about 12 or so hours per week. We have new ministers there that have many great ideas and are now building this Church up again. I love it as I feel accepted.

We also have Brennen from Friday 10.30am til Saturday 5.30 every week. A darling little boy who has now turned 3.

So at this stage I have only Wednesday free to catch up on all my other things I need to do.

I am going really well, weight loss is still about 52kgs. Don't loss much now as I build up fluid then I take this off 3 times per week when I do dialysis.

Another thing that has happened is that I ahve had another operation, this was to fix a large hernia that was in my stomach, measured about 25 x 20 cm. so they done a tummy tuck at the same time. This had to be done for when I make the renal transplant list. I need another 2 years of being kidney cancer free, so far so good.

Thank you for all the people that have sent me messages as you can see I am still in the land of the living LOL. but jsut get the time to sit on here.

Hope all my friends in the USA had a lovely Thanks Giving and to everyone have a great Xmas and a Happy New Year.

I will try to get back on here every week or two.

I've been offline off and on for awhile too, so we're in good company! LOL Had a sudden nosedive in my GFR, probably due to a new medication for swelling... yuck. And I have GOUT now! More dietary recommendations to juggle! LOL

I'm glad the dialysis is going smoother for you now, it's a huge adjustment~ and the diet parameters all change too! LOL
I know you'll probably be posting pictures with Brennen when Christmas rolls around, huh... looking forward to that!

Hopefully you'll be able to make that transplant list very soon, that would be AMAZING!
Love you, sweet lady! Sending prayers your way...

I am so HAPPY to hear from you my sweet friend, Wendy!!

BUT, I am happier that you are doing well - maintaining your health, working a bit, found a church and have the blessing of Brennen!

I so understand about Spark being a low priority when your well-being needs to be first on your priority list. Continue to take care of you!!! I am so very happy you are doing so very well! I think about you often & keep you in prayer... sometimes a goodie or two... and I stop by your page once in a while to see if you have been here. Continue to take care of you!
