2016 goals:

* maintain daily step goals of 10,000 or more - got sick in December and missed 2 days

* maintain daily fitness minutes goals 45 minutes or more - missed 2 days here too

* maintain daily reading of 30 minutes or more - head hurt too bad to read for 2 days

* avoid C.R.A.P. by purchasing more whole foods - somewhat stuck to this through to December

* avoid impulse food purchases by sticking to the plan - with the holidays and grands overnight i did cave and get them some goodies.

* limiting our dining out to 1 time per month - who am I kidding... it was December and we treated everyone

* declutter the garage - got it done, but now it's cluttered with the boxes for Christmas stuff.... it will go back up this weekend

* keep house decluttered by organizing items on hand - managed to stay organized but Christmas has it a bit cluttered again.

* work out with DH 10 minutes or more 3 times a week - gave up.... i can't control him or make him change... he has to want that for himself

* work on core/balance/strength exercises 10 minutes or more 2 times per week - YES! maybe 2017 will be my year for liking it.

* work on small projects for 15 minutes or more 2 times a week when watching tv - YES!

* avoid evening snacking and make healthier options for DH (helps with avoiding C.R.A.P.) - hit and miss through December.

* compete, complete and succeed in a 5% weight loss challenge - competed, completed, but did not succeed.

* hit One-derland by year end - ok so i missed this one too.

1/1 to 3/31 -- down 7 lbs!
4/1 to 6/30 -- maintained
7/1 to 9/30 -- gained it back = {
10/1-12/31 -- gained 2 more.

already processing how to make this work next year..... looking things over to revise and avoid. I need to be more assertive when it comes to DH and December. it was tough to make TRULY healthy choices at some of the places we went, and the eat in run stuff did me in.

Here's to my 2016 learning experience and my 2017 trial run =)

Very impressed with your achievements and success! You were consistent on exercise, and made major healthy choices on eating for most of the year. Here's to a successful 2017!

(p.s. I had a similar results on weight -- lost weight first 4 months; plateaued 4 months; gained last 4 months. Doing better with weight loss now that my thyroid dose has been adjusted)

Well, new year, revised approach to your plan, and you'll be fine in 2017

Yes, it is frustrating, but can't control anyone but ourselves. Can just lead by example.
