Aha moment

Thursday, January 19, 2017

I over ate last night. Ate so much my stomach hurt and continued to hurt for at least another hour. And then I realized that I can't remember the last time I ate so much or felt that kind of pain. I noticed recently that it is easier to say no to unhealthy foods (donuts, cakes) than it used to be. I am changing, my mindset is changing. I no longer need to be stuffed to feel satisfied. So the moral of the story is sometimes eating the wrong way can help to point out what you have been doing right!

I added you as a friend and I will be here to motivate you however I can. At my heaviest, I weighed 262 and I felt miserable. I am currently 10-15 years later at 179. I joined Jillian Michael's and was a member there for 4 years and I learned a lot of good habits there, but the support here is so tremendous and it is free! I had gained back to 192 and I promised myself I would never see 200 again, so I joined here last year in July. I did the Fall Challenge as a Firecracker, then Winter Challenge, and now Spring Challenge. My health was not good, but I got some very good advice from fellow Firecrackers as they really care on this team, so I hope you will find your spark and it seems you already are changing your mindset if you had your aha moment. I have spent most of my life too big and unhappy, so I hope to spend the rest of my life happy. So just do your best to take care of you every day and just take it one day at a time. We will not be perfect, but we can always start anew the next day if we mess up. Put that behind you and just continue on with your new healthy ways. This time we will meet our goals! Keep sparking!!! emoticon emoticon
