My thoughts today. (Religious)

Friday, February 10, 2017

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
I know there are situations that we don't want to face, the disappearance of a family member, not knowing where they are or what has happened to them, is very hard on our family. I trust God with it all, He knows where Koty is, and if there is foul play involved. I can give it all to God because He sustains me daily and He is good all of the time, even when we are grieved with the situations life throws at us. This is what, "Thy will be done," means to me and though I don't want it to be like this, it is. God will work good out of it.
We, as Christians, face health problems, our own mortality, hatred and persecution from others. Job went through awful trials if we would judge them as if Job's trials were happening to us. When we pray, "Thy will be done" we are saying we will trust God with the whole situation. As hard as it is to do, we must accept God's Sovereignty in allowing the situation to happen to us.

Hear my resounding "AMEN!" & "AMEN!"

We are so blessed to know beyond a shadow of doubt that nothing happens in our lives or the lives of our loved ones that is not first filtered through the nail-scarred hands of our Lord Jesus, our Savior. Meaning that no occurrences come our way without first being okayed by our Abba in His sovereignty. There is great comfort in that, when we hold onto that truth!

All that said, & believed very strongly, I still wish with all my heart that the situation/trial of Coty's disappearance was not a burden your family was faced with.

I continue to lift prayer for Coty's safe return!

God bless you for your determination to put your complete trust in Him alone! There is no better place for us to place our trust! \o/ \o/ \o/

emoticon It is His will be done, not ours, dear heart. That's where we must trust, even in the frightful sorrow of not knowing a loved one's whereabouts. Father knows and final justice is in His hands. We have the victory and you will see Koty again. Love y'all and holding you close in thought & prayer~ emoticon emoticon BB~

Amen to what you said. As much as we want to be in control, things are always in the hands of God. I am happy your faith is helping you to cope with this.

Hugs, my dear. Yes, it is not possible to control situations, but only our attitude. And turning it over to God is difficult sometimes, but that's what ultimately will give us peace and comfort -- as much as is possible.

My prayers and thoughts continue for you and your entire family.
