Spring Into Fitness: Day 1 Week 1

The challenge has started. I am excited and hoping to make this a successful one.
Today I did a 2 mile interval run with baby but he started crying and wouldn't stop so I had to cut things short. I'll do something else at home once I get a break... maybe the spin bike + some strength training. I've come to the realization that though I am/was a marathon (26.2 miles) runner.. I'm in much worse shape and have to start from the beginning again. Maybe I'll even include modified strength training until I am able to the real thing.
One day at a time. I will not give up. I will not quit until I reach my goals... and I won't quit then either. I'm looking for ways to re-commit and incorporate healthy eating habits into my love for cardio.
Going to count calories and preplan meals... even though I resisted this in the past. At the least,I'll write down what I eat so I can have an accurate count for it all.
--- Water/fluids so far, 32 ounces water. About to drink the rest of my water between now and bedtime. I'm still breastfeeding so I tend to be pretty thirsty all day.
--- 40 mins of cardio so far
--- 15 mins strength training session
Goal for the week: More than 64 ounces of water a day
5 cardio sessions of at least 30 minutes of exercise
2 strength training workouts
